Local HVAC company teams up with a number of organizations to build a new home for a deserving family on the eastside of Indianapolis

Indianapolis, October 11, 2011 – Back in September Peterman Heating & Cooling, Inc. partnered with Ev’ryMan Victory and the Fuller Center to build a house on the eastside of Indianapolis as part of the Fuller Center’s “Legacy Project”.  This project was centered on building a home for a deserving family in need.  Peterman partnered with their Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems distributor Habegger to donate the HVAC equipment and installation.

Ev’ryMan Victory was founded by Jonathan Byrd II, to honor his father’s legacy of bearing the burdens of others.  Jonathan Byrd was extremely generous with his time and money and never saw an opportunity where he would not try to help those in need.  His generosity has been continued on by his son with the Ev’ryMan Victory foundation and last month’s “Legacy Project” with the Fuller Center.  This project coincided with the 35th Annual World Figure 8® Championship.  Seeing as the late Jonathan Byrd was an avid race enthusiast, Ev’ryMan Victory felt these two events together would most appropriately capture the ideas of the foundation, “Racing with a Purpose” and “Bearing Others Burdens.”

Peterman Heating & Cooling, Inc. teamed with their distributor of Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems, the Habegger Corporation, to provide the HVAC equipment and installation.  Peterman has been providing HVAC service and installation to the Indianapolis area for over 25 years and felt this would be a great opportunity to give back to the community.  When asked about the project, Pete Peterman, president of Peterman Heating & Cooling, Inc., stated, “We are always looking to make an impact in the community through projects like this.  We have been very blessed as a company and look to give our time and expertise whenever called upon.”  Peterman undertakes a number of community service projects each year in an effort to help those deserving families in the Indianapolis community.

The complete installation of the HVAC system took just over a day to complete.  The installers first ran all the duct system, complete with heat runs and return air vents.  After this system was in place the HVAC install crew set up the new furnace and air conditioner donated by the Habegger Corporation.  This process took almost a complete day.  The Peterman installers worked both meticulously and quickly to finish the project by the September 9th deadline.
