Local HVAC company volunteers to help Indianapolis-based Herman & Kittle Properties, Inc. educate their employees on heating and cooling basics and troubleshooting.

Indianapolis, December 16, 2011 – Peterman Heating & Cooling, Inc. volunteered yesterday at the Herman & Kittle Properties, Inc. company meetings at the Indiana Live! Casino in an effort to educate Herman & Kittle employees on HVAC basics, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Herman & Kittle Properties, Inc. is a property development company headquartered on the north side of Indianapolis that specializes in multi-family construction projects.  They have properties all across the country and a large property management and maintenance staff that oversea these developments.  Teaming with Peterman, Herman & Kittle looked to provide their employees with continued learning and development.  Diagnosing HVAC issues can sometimes be very difficult without the correct tools and information.  This particular HVAC breakout session was put together to connect property managers and maintenance staff with heating and cooling professionals from Peterman.

This is the first year Peterman was asked to volunteer for this particular set of meetings, but it is not the first time Peterman and Herman Kittle Properties, Inc. have partnered on a project.  Peterman has designed and installed the HVAC systems for a number of Herman & Kittle developments in and around Indianapolis.  Recently, they have completed Brookhaven on the city’s south side, Autumn Breeze in Noblesville, and 34 North on the north side of Indianapolis.  They are also currently installing the duct systems and heating and cooling equipment for the Wynne Farms project in Brownsburg.

These projects and a number of others have strengthened a growing relationship between Peterman and Herman & Kittle.  Peterman prides itself on being multifaceted when it comes to customer service.  They are not only able to correctly install HVAC equipment, but also keep their customers informed of the latest news in the industry.

Peterman is continually looking for ways to educate people on the basics of their home comfort system.  When asked about this opportunity to partner with Herman & Kittle at an event like this, Pete Peterman, president of Peterman Heating & Cooling, Inc., stated, “My mission from the very inception of this company was to provide customers with the highest quality of service.  Part of that service is education.  This opportunity gave us a larger audience to do just that.”  This is not the only means of outreach Peterman has undertaken in the past couple of months.  They now have a blog on their website at www.petermanhvac.com where they write articles addressing common HVAC issues and easy troubleshooting for your system.  “I wasn’t exactly comfortable with the idea at first, given my lack of computer knowledge, but the more and more I look at it, this blog is a great way for us to stay in touch with our customers and provide them with useful information,” said Pete.
